Holiday sketches

I don't know why, but during my vacations in Norway I drew more than the two monthes before. Mostly uninteresting things, but I like these two ones:

During the flight Zurich - Stockholm. It's Henke, if anyone remember him.

And Yoko. I repainted the eyes about 10 times and it still doesn't work. I still lack basics, aaargh.
But it's different from my usual drawing style anyway.

Now some random things:

Yes, I DO love "manga"nizing mascots. Flix (or was it Trix? Who cares) for European Cup in Switzerland. I've got some Fuwa-Sketches, but no time to scan.

It was raining outside and there was a blank sheet of paper.

Some WIPs from my last submission (Hoshi no Koe) on Animexx (http://datamexx.onlinewelten.com/himitsu/bd1bf0bdbe69a6ccd03dc7085b3565f3/48af1c8a/fanarts/13/82313/1345125.jpeg)
Take a close look on the clouds. And I was too lazy to color the bottom, shame on me.

I've started reading Eyeshield again. Fucking Awesome.
I can't wait for the next artbook! Much much love for the drawings, not so much love for
the plot. If Deimon win, it's all little too much Gary Stu. But I don't care, Murata's still the best.
By the way, I'm working on my "baby" again, means I'm trying to rewrite "Boardercross"...
it's hard, since I know exactly what I DON'T want but dont have clue what I DO want.

Eh well, I never want Weeaboo to die, that's why I keep posting and talking these useless things. xD"Uhm. I'll be staying in China the next term, but I'll still draw and post things here, so don't give up on us!

Bleach Women x HYD

My brain doesn't work anymore, so some random-no-OC-sketches from the past few weeks:

1) Somewhere between my old French notes, there was a Hina-Sketch, and I thought, MAN, I must be able to draw her better now.
2) Just wanted to test the new ballpen (with four colors!awesome). I didn't have any intentions but it reminds me of the Rukia-nearly-died chapters of the Hueceo Mundo arc
3) You might have already forgotten her...but she and her dumb brother are two of my favourite characters! Kuukaku, please appear in the "Turn back the Pendulum"-arc ;o; (in the manga, her right arm is missing...eeeh, you didn't thought, it was my lazyiness, did you?)
4) ballpen + stabilo, because copics and ballpen-lines don't get on well together.

Gnaaaah, why is Matsujun-Doumyouji so hard to draw??? It's the second try, but it looks dumb as ever. Anyway, this is the evereverLAST thing I've drawn during classes. Kind of nostalgic...it was dark, we were watching a film in English classes ("One flew over the cuckoo's nest"). It must have been quite a funny movie regarding the reactions of my classmates, but I was rather in HYD-mood, haha. I thought I drew Nia (TTGL) somewhere...M.I.A. :O

Anyway I'm talking to much, and this post is quite boring, because there're only faces and no special expressions. But I just wanted to take my mind off math. Now back to work...

It's me again. I am SO SORRY. It is SO lame and.. uninteresting O,o"
I didn't have a lot of time too, because I am really busy right now.. Anyway, I appreciate, that our page has been visited over 500 times already. I am happy and proud about it, since this blog (and our drawings) are like children to me / to us!

So, a little sketch to say "thank you"- I know it's really cheap, but I guess better than nothing 8D (...I am NOT sure about that xD)

I just drew it (2nd reason) because I wanted to check my copics, AND how the character should look like.

Simon (the guy), and Vivie (his not - blood- related sister) from "Möwe".

huahuaaa.. now I told you already too much 8//D. But I guess, Simi is not going to look at that blog, so it should be okay.
(DONT TELL HER xD @Name.)

Anyway, thanks for all!
And thanks for Ming and Tee, for their admirable work!! Sankyuh~ ->heart<-

Uhm.

I drew them in my last arts lessons. So they're really old. The teacher wasn't there, we were allowed to leave, but I stayed with a few others, because I wanted to take this last chance.

Quatro-real Rukia. Messed up her nose.

For Mother's Day. Can you read it?

And this one is from today...

...it's so crappy, that I feel thick. Since my exams I can't draw anymore...something's gotten wrong with me. And Masaki, you still haven't seen Saturn, have you? Are you ignoring it or what?

It's been a long time..

Long long time ago.. I can still remember...
Does anyone knows that song? xD
Anyway, I am SO SORRY. I didn't even write comment to my dear friends (I am doing right away, I SWEAR.), and I didn't upload anything...

Friday morning, we had old japanese class, and it was that boring, that I couldn't help but to draw. I really like the drawing now, I was surprised by myself, because I almost never had to erase something, because it wasn't good.

Maybe, still, the proportions aren't that real, but I still like it very much.

Because we didn't have anything of HYD, I wanted to draw something first. (But Ming was faster than me ;O;" Funny, that we have the same object xDD. (But I drew Tsukushi one month ago, but it doesn't look good, that's why I never upload it.)
I wanted to draw Hanazawa Rui first, sitting next to the window, but I guess I failed. He looks too young right? (but did you know that the actor of Hanazawa Rui, Oguri Shun, already is 27 years old??)
And usually, he should be 17 I guess.

Mine looks like 15, so I decided, that he's Hanazawa Rui before he met Makino.

I know, the position of the violin is wrong ( I have to change that) and the background is not finished yet, but I wanted to show Rui.

Please klick, to see the big version of it. I love the clothes..
;_;" And his expression. What could he be thinking right now..? I am not gonna tell you xD

When I was in Iwate with my sister, I started to analyse the Shounen Jump a little bit. (Or was it Sunday?)
Anyway, I REALLY liked Eyeshield, how the drawer draws expressions and so on is AWESOME. I liked it before, from scanlations, but if you hold it in your hands its even BETTER.

So I started to draw the same expressions to learn it (so first I copied it) and after, I started to experiment with it.

Like you see, I didn't want to copy the looklike of the person (he doesn't look like Sena at all, right?)
I only wanted to draw his body, because it's good practise.

I really like Monta, he is just awesome - not only his character design, but also his expressions. I love his eyebrows (better than rock lee xD), and I really like his MOUTH. MAX!! Yeah, I will show you what I mean xD

It doesn't have to look like Monta. I just wanted to see, what I have to do, to give my charas the same expressions. I really like the left one, Monta who's looking down.
I realized, that I made a mistake with drawing the nose. (Nasenbein?XD) But I guess, now I learned from It and won't do that fault again.

That one looks strange, right? I only like the shouting one in the middle xDDDD
Why do I show that?

Just because it's fun. MAX!

I LOVE his mouth.

So, after I finished studying the characters, I drew an own one.

And like I wrote: "He's someone who wouldn't be the hero of a tale"

I think I am right. I like him kinda, but he doesn't have "das gewisse Extra" xD

But I like his expression very much (The Ear is wrong again.. I hate it.) But I like the shaddings. I guess I did them well.

What do you think about him?
Fuxx told me, that my drawing style looks 100% Shounen if I keep on drawing like that!
(But after I draw that Rui, in an other style again..

;_;")

Why do I have to switch everytime??

Again own character.
But I only like the "Ciao" one xD HAHA.
Yeah, I guess, I can't say more, even If I wanted to.
I have to learn more and more- Still, I AM a rookie.
But I am getting better, I AM. Because I am practising like hell =,=" gah.
I am going now to cinema to watch a japanese Move. And to visit Sakuragichou in Yokohama, I ve never been there before xD
So, wish you a nice day!!

Life is drama.

I won't stop till you drop! Fufufu, I know I was the one who said I won't post for a month, but actually I've some things to show. (IF YOU WISH, HIT ME)

The first one to tell me his name gets Saturn from me. Very sketchy, but I think, the important things are visible. Took me about an hour with GT and Paint.NET, one layer for the background, other layer for the rest.

Orz, I got addicted to Bambino!. I started watching the drama because of Matsumoto Jun, but I began to like all the other characters, too. Katori reminds me of Suwabara from Yakitate!Japan, heh. Coincidence?

Ok, just to make it not so fandom-like, here something interesting: (maybe)
About a month ago, I started to maintain a special notebook. It contains pictures that I collected from newspapers and magazines...having in mind, they'll be useful to me one day, maybe giving me some inspiration.

For example animals and scenes from daily life around the world...

...buildings...

...fashion...

...etc., etc.

It's already half filled...and it already proved to be helpful, so I can recommend it, if you haven't started with something like that yet. (I MYSELF SHOULD HAVE DONE THAT MUCH EARLIER)

Uhm yeah.

Before cutting the ropes

I really feel like summer at the moment...or rather I'm yearning for the summer to come.

This was supposed to be my entry for a contest. Animexx looked for a new fanart with its mascots for the Fanart welcome page. But I couldn't finish it in time...or rather I didn't wanted anymore, because I got scared by the competition. And even though I like Kamina/Yuki, I got Yoko/Aiko all wrong. I'm very curious about the winners.

Yo, this is all I've drawn in the two weeks of my spring break. I was inspired by this shot of Mischa Barton in the February 08 shedule of InStyle. I tried to mix with 30s- and streetstyle...and messed up. I shouldn't have used water colors. Or should I say I really have to practise more?

Anyway, this is my last entry before my graduation. Now it's up to the other two to keep this Blog alive! *_*;

Me Again

Puhh ... I don't want to be left behind so I have to post!
Sorry but I'm currently in a "don't want to draw mod" ...since xx months...hehe.
I made these sketches today afternoon. I was in a very nervous weird mode that I drew my Illustration Project in a ....kinda Manga style ;; But I think the sketches are cute so weeaboo can have them >D. Yeah, I'm still thinking of weeaboo! Ehhrr let's start.

.

And no this is'nt a big mouse, i'ts a bear! The Project is to illustrate a song from "Mani Matter" called "d'r Eskimo" ...a popular song in swiss-german. I really liked this song in my past.
But I don't want a bishi eskimo in my Project ..erhww...

I started to draw Reborn! Fanarts.....okay only 1,2,3 ....

GO GO GADGET SHOUNEN DRAWING!

What's going on here...nobody posting and nobody commenting. Is everyone THAT busy? ;_;
So now I've got some Shounen stuff, ZOMG.

One Day I made a decision: To start drawing in Shounen-style. And this was the first sketch after taking that step. (Guess by whom I was inspired...)
That day (some time in...2004/5?) I was thick of not-knowing my own path and all the rest. So I just made this decision from one day to another. Kind of weird, and today, I would never do that. I just draw, what I think would show a part of myself, either it's shounen, shoujo or someting in between. Mmmhm, I noticed, that I have a very self-centered attitude, when it comes to drawing mangastories. Unlike Hina, I draw to make people happy, so I can feel happy myself, or e-eh, I can't explain it well. But she has my full respect, because she wants to draw things that make other people stronger. Very admirable.

These are characters from a, rather Shounen-like, original story. It's about the heaven beneath our feet ;). Maybe I'll rewirte the story for the next German Shounenmanga compilation. (btw, today they finally arrived! It really felt amazing to see your own story in a book. And a little embarassing, because I had to think of all the people who read my shit, gaaah. Next time I'll do it MUCH better.)
Eh...how do you write "Nande"? "なんで"? Or should I say Nanda? Arr, I need someone to teach me proper Anime Japanese xD Ah yes. I LOVE skates. Beautiful animals.

And I'm talking a way too much, I'm sorry! But...I haven't been talking online for a week, so please, be merciful. And yes I'm finished. I've got EVEN MORE things I'd like to post, but first I'd like to hear some feedback to both entries, pleaaase ;o;

Definetely Maybe

I managed to keep my fingers off the internet at the weekend. So I was reading almost every moment except the few hours I spend drawing. It was really refreshing.

Let's start:

Some things I'd like to submit at LiveJournal. Firo and Isaac for the Baccano-Community. I leapt over my shadows and experimented with colours (>>Firo). Pink-yellow-orange is my favourite combination. Pink-green-yellow is not bad as well. And yellow-violet. Everything goes with yellow! (don't look at me like that) I only feel sorry for the weird arm. :S

and Kamina for Swordbullets@LiveJournal (mission: to draw one million Kaminas!)

This was supposed to be my ultra-happy-4-years-at-animexx (german manga/anime-community)-fanart = Aiko, mascot of the community. But I couldn't finish it and I never will...maybe only for the welcome page contest. Inspired by the 1930s.

Anyway, I have some more things in my sleeves, but I don't want to submit too much at once. Opinions are very much appreciated. :)
