Holiday sketches

I don't know why, but during my vacations in Norway I drew more than the two monthes before. Mostly uninteresting things, but I like these two ones:




















During the flight Zurich - Stockholm. It's Henke, if anyone remember him.



















And Yoko. I repainted the eyes about 10 times and it still doesn't work. I still lack basics, aaargh.
But it's different from my usual drawing style anyway.

Yes, I DO love "manga"nizing mascots. Flix (or was it Trix? Who cares) for European Cup in Switzerland. I've got some Fuwa-Sketches, but no time to scan.

I've started reading Eyeshield again. Fucking Awesome.
I can't wait for the next artbook! Much much love for the drawings, not so much love for
the plot. If Deimon win, it's all little too much Gary Stu. But I don't care, Murata's still the best.
By the way, I'm working on my "baby" again, means I'm trying to rewrite "Boardercross"...
it's hard, since I know exactly what I DON'T want but dont have clue what I DO want.

Eh well, I never want Weeaboo to die, that's why I keep posting and talking these useless things. xD"Uhm. I'll be staying in China the next term, but I'll still draw and post things here, so don't give up on us!

Before cutting the ropes

I really feel like summer at the moment...or rather I'm yearning for the summer to come.


















This was supposed to be my entry for a contest. Animexx looked for a new fanart with its mascots for the Fanart welcome page. But I couldn't finish it in time...or rather I didn't wanted anymore, because I got scared by the competition. And even though I like Kamina/Yuki, I got Yoko/Aiko all wrong. I'm very curious about the winners.


























Yo, this is all I've drawn in the two weeks of my spring break. I was inspired by this shot of Mischa Barton in the February 08 shedule of InStyle. I tried to mix with 30s- and streetstyle...and messed up. I shouldn't have used water colors. Or should I say I really have to practise more?

Anyway, this is my last entry before my graduation. Now it's up to the other two to keep this Blog alive! *_*;

Definetely Maybe

I managed to keep my fingers off the internet at the weekend. So I was reading almost every moment except the few hours I spend drawing. It was really refreshing.

Let's start:






















Some things I'd like to submit at LiveJournal. Firo and Isaac for the Baccano-Community. I leapt over my shadows and experimented with colours (>>Firo). Pink-yellow-orange is my favourite combination. Pink-green-yellow is not bad as well. And yellow-violet. Everything goes with yellow! (don't look at me like that) I only feel sorry for the weird arm. :S



and Kamina for Swordbullets@LiveJournal (mission: to draw one million Kaminas!)










This was supposed to be my ultra-happy-4-years-at-animexx (german manga/anime-community)-fanart = Aiko, mascot of the community. But I couldn't finish it and I never will...maybe only for the welcome page contest. Inspired by the 1930s.


















Anyway, I have some more things in my sleeves, but I don't want to submit too much at once. Opinions are very much appreciated. :)

Gurren Lagann Challenge #3

Hah ;_;" When I saw Bao's/Ming's drawings, I HAD to draw too. She inspires me, everytime!! So, here is the next part of our challenge!

I LOVE Nia. Because sometimes, she is really stupid - but damn cute!
(and if you write "NIAH", it's like "HINA"! Tadaaa! (...random. 8D))

And again. Gurren Lagann (sorry?) but the next drawing after THAT will be own character- I swear!! (...better not.. xD)



And to be honest- I didn't try to draw correctly. This time I just ignored all rules and just started to try around.
I like Yoko xDDD.
I try to give all Shichirigahama Uniforms. Of course, not the true ones, because I want Yoko to wear her long socks and so on.
As you can see, Kamina, Simon and Nia (!!) aren't that planned right now. Let's see how they end up later!

Yoko and Kamina are Senpai with the blue shoes (for Sannensei- means 3rd grade)
And Simon and Nia are ichinensei, first grade. I will try to finish it that week ^^

Gurren Lagann Tsunami!

I just have to process with Gurren Lagann. Masaki should be done with it now as well, so I don't have to fear spoilering anyone. (else than Tee xD" Sorry!) Man, I even draw in school again.

;_; Nnnn. That was the sadest part. Or, äääh, the only one I had to cry. Or maybe I just cried, because TTGL ended. Bah, GARlock doesn't look like GARlock at all. But I like how Nia turned out.

Have I ever mentionned how much I love to draw her? It's always fun. *_* One day, I learn to draw her rifle properly. Or her full body.


So I'm now working on the copic version of the TTGL-sketch from my last entry. And I thought, a little "Making of" would be interesting.















Step 1: What the heck is this?? It's a do-it-yourself light table (germ.: Leuchtpult). You only need a pane of class, a lamp that'd fit underneath and some thick mangas. ;D
















Step2: And why the heck a light table?? Hmm, I liket the pencil lines, so I decided to copy the lines and not to work on the original in my sketchbook. Put a new sheet of paper over it and trace the lines.
























Step 3: The result. The lines don't look lively at all, but that doesn't matter, you going to outline it anway. (I didn't put any efforts in Kamina...uah.)























Step 4: Now I traced the lines with an Edding. You can already see some Tippex as well, haha.


























Step 5: I started coloring with Yoko. When I color, I don't follow any shema, it's a big chaotic. But I (almost) always start with the lightest colour and add the darker tones, like most people would do. This time, I used opaque white for the briliance in the hair.


























Step 6: Hmm, nothing to add.























Step 7: Nearly finished. The background is still missing. But I corrected the head sizes a little, Yoko's head was like 10 times bigger than Shimon's and Kamina's.

ANIKI!!??

Simon is SO great. I still cannot believe what happened to Kamina.

It's my first real Simon, I know (like everytime) that there are a lot of mistakes. But, I cannot see them until I finished my picture D: I don't like that.

Why he makes that kind of face?
I drew a immaginary part of episode eight, after the big fight.
Simon gets out of Lagann and opens the door to Gurren..

I can't believe why I drew that O_O!!










And his glasses are wrong, on the right side they are much thicker and... Ah, I don't care. I had fun drawing it, that's the most important thing.
I didn't know how to do that.. uahahahah. What else?

TTGL- Challenge #1

Aaaand me again. I told you, I want at least a weekly upload- and more is welcome too.

So, it's me again, I am sorry xD Finally, I finished Linalee. I started yesterday (sunday) in a chinese café. I tried to draw a lot of things, but I failed and failed again. So I decided to start with a character I really like. It turned out to be Linalee.
Who's reading D. Gray-Man knows maybe, why I chose Linalee to draw:


I tried a new pose, and I failed.. (;__;!!)
It looks better in the original (again), because that photograph is really bad and you cannot see the colours that good. Like you see, there are only TWO colours. Purple and Blue. I like that effect.. But it would be nicer if Linalee had red eyes. It would look like.. GAHHH<3!>

And the head on the bottom didn't fit anymore (haha xD) but In the original, the head would be finished and not been cut.

I guess its okay, even it didn't turn out like that I wanted..

I draw that picture, after I read "Night (Chapter)148". Leverrier told Linalee to go with him, to synchronisize once again with her Innocence. But she is afraid and started to hate her innocence, because it shortened her own life and almost killed her. Because of the Level 4 akuma, she's forced to fight against her will.

I am strong.

And my second picture is for BAO, because we started our TTGL - CHALLENGE.

That means, she HAS to continue it. I am so sorry, Its just worthless junk.

There are THAT much mistakes, but I don't care for some strange reason xD HAHAHHAHA <3

Lots of fanart...and something else.

Hello everyone! Now it's my turn, I guess. I will only write in English, because I'm too lazy I don't have much time those days.

Weeaboo is a OC-Blog, indeed. But I don't feel like drawing OCs...there will be mostly fanarts form my side. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann has become my 2nd REAL FANDOM beside Bleach. I mean I've been looking for fanarts for 2hours, this is crazyness MAX...
Anyway. I always get a lot of ideas after fanart-seeking. Like this:


























My...fetish ;_; Drew it on Sunday before school started (as an explanation for the Chibi-Adiane-part in the corner). It's so difficult to get more then two people in one situation. The heads never had the same sizes, aargh. But I think it's ok now.
I just can't decide wether I should colorate it with Copics or by computer or both. What do you think? And after all, I don't want to destroy the nice (COUGH) pencil lines...
